Inspired by the spectacle of the famed frozen methane bubbles of Abraham Lake; ‘Breathe’ is a wall sculpture that captures the ephemeral beauty of breath bubbles trapped beneath the frozen surface of the lake. Suspended in crystalline ice, the bubbles seem to pulse with the life that created them, frozen in time yet yearning for release. This piece embodies the tension between stillness and motion, containment and escape. Evoking a quiet longing for freedom.
