Poise is a frozen suspension of iridescent glass bubbles, each form shaped through breath, gravity and heat. The work holds time in abeyance, an analogue record of the body momentarily arrested within a volatile material. Hovering between fragility and endurance, the bubbles act as vessels of contained air, their skins bearing the quiet tension of compression and release. The sculpture invites a slowed encounter, where light, refraction and stillness register as traces of human touch preserved beyond movement, change or immediacy.
