“Our house is full of lego creations made by both of our children. It seemed a natural direction to make my own painting into a lego piece when asked to explore AI in art.
Through AI, paintings can be transformed into new materials that wouldn’t have been conceivable prior to technology.
My painting was pixilated through an online program and the Lego pieces travelled through the mail from France and the US to reach us.
Piece by piece, my entire family put this Lego painting together, a mechanical and yet incrdedibly human process.”
