“I recently completed my PhD in Evolution & Behaviour at the University of Lethbridge. I work both independently and in collaboration with other artists including 12 Point Buck and M.E.D.I.U.M.. My solo exhibitions, Coyote (2014), Backyard Wilderness (2019/2021), and Burrows & Bungalows (2022, 2024 & 2025), address the intersection of wildlife with rural, suburban, and urban spaces. These exhibitions demonstrate my continued interest in natural history methodologies and their connection to taxidermy, printmaking, and collage. I have done residencies at the Banff Centre (2005), Klondike Institute of Art & Culture (2017), and the Gushul Studio (2021, 2024 & forthcoming in 2027). My mixed media works “Coyote” and “Hawk on a Farmhouse” toured as part of A Prairie Vernacular from 2019-2021. Recent exhibitions include Visualizing the Data (2023) in Casa’s project space and a hybrid of Backyard Wilderness and Burrows & Bungalows at the Leighton Centre (2025).”
