60” x 30” Oil on Canvas 2026
“I'm from the last generation of Analog teenagers.
Either in school, bored, drunk, or stoned.
Always with friends.
We learned to drive our parents' car so we could park it somewhere and hang out behind the old college on top of the hill. Listening to our Pearl Jam tape until the cops told us to go home.
And then the years went by and we lost touch. And technology caught up to us.
I now live with two teenagers in this crazy reality, struggling as a mother in constant fight with the ever addictive algorithms. Precious formative years wasted living a reality that will never exist.
Look around kid. You live in paradise”
